New Overbed Tables & Stackable Chairs for Rainbow Children’s Ward

Patients and visitors on Rainbow Children’s Ward are now benefiting from 10 overbed tables and 12 stackable chairs our charity financed at a cost of £2,708. 

Acute Child Health Matron Emma Desmond, shown with Play Leaders Terri & Olivia along with our Chairman Sylvia Pheils & her fellow trustee Linda, said: “Thanks so much to the League of Friends for funding our bedside tables and the new brightly coloured chairs for our waiting room. The chairs have really brightened up the waiting area making it more welcoming and fun. The bedside tables are in use daily with children able to sit comfortably for their meals and also using them for craft and play activities.”
